I’ve just left Venice and visited the beaches of Lido…at low tide I found a handful of sea glass in an hour of searching …we are heading to the amalfi coast in the best few days… Can’t wait to go searching there too.

The sea glass is right on the beach in Positano, mixed in with the rocks and bits of ocean-tumbled pottery. If you like sea glass, it’s a treasure trove. I haven’t ever been on the beaches in Venice or Murano, only in the city. Now that you mention it, I would love to go hunt for sea glass there…I bet it’s amazing!

would love toknow where you found this seaglass in positano. Going to Italy beginning of March 2012 and planto do some seaglass hunting. Have you ever found any glass up near Venice orMurano?
